I am an observational geophysicist primarily interested in earthquake seismology. My research focuses on understanding tectonic and magmatic processes using dense seismic observations, and machine-learning-based tools. My postdoctoral work focuses on developing and applying machine-learning-based methods for robust earthquake detection, fault-zone characterization, and volcanic monitoring. During my PhD, I investigated active deformation processes in the Andes using dense nodal seismic deployments, high-resolution earthquake catalogs constructed with machine-learning-based tools, and seismic interferometry.
